WHAT DOES MELODY PIANO HAVE TO OFFER?

Melody Piano is a private piano studio located in Metamora, Michigan. 
My name is Suzan Pleva.  I am the instructor and owner.  I work very hard to provide a comfortable
learning environment for my students to excel in understanding how to become accomplished and confident. 
Melody Piano currently has students from ages 4, to 65 enrolled. This website is Melody Piano's opportunity to give information.  I strive to help my students become great musicians, not just piano players.
I always say to
"play with your heart and mind,  not just your fingertips."

Suzan Pleva is a proud member of the Music Teachers National Association, The Michigan Music Teachers Association, and the Metropolitan Detroit Musicians League (webmaster/board member).    Being a member of these institutions has helped Melody Piano gain insight to further our students education in musicianship.  Please take the time to read below to see what each of these institutions has to offer, and see how it helps with keeping Melody Piano's students up to date with regional, state, and national levels of equivalency.

METROPOLITAN DETROIT MUSICIANS LEAGUE

The Metropolitan Detroit Musicians League was founded in 1927. It is an organization of independent piano, vocal and instrumental teachers. The purposes of the League are to promote and encourage the understanding, appreciation and study of the art of music, to evaluate the economic and artistic standards of teachers of music and to promote a closer professional fraternity. The Metropolitan Detroit Musicians League has members from parts of Maccomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne Counties.

The Music Teachers National Association is dedicated to working towards a more musical tomorrow.  Their mission is to advance the value of music study and music making to society and to support the professionalism of music teachers across the nation.  Code of Ethics:
